February update

I took the day off of school today, and one of the things I did was finally record this song:

These songs sound terrible from my computer speakers, but halfway decent on headphones. If anyone wants, I can put up the other five or six songs I recorded, but they're generally as good as these songs or worse.

It's that time of year again. Skip to 4:20 for a sweet MIDI I did like 6 years ago and a list of "singles?" from Xmas2011. Replete with bad covers of Styx, BTO, and H&O, this will be a serving of cheer not to be missed. Christ-missed!

It's been a long time since I posted a song. I just got my built-in computer microphone to kind of work, so I threw this one together. Will it take me six months to post another one? Probably.

Spring Break

No more law school for a little while means that I don't feel too guilty taking a few hours out of the day to record. Ironically, I just purchased a drum machine, and the first thing I did was write a waltz...

A while ago I wrote that I wished for something (though I don't remember what) and then wrote "if wishes were fishes, then I would have two. Two tasty fishes for tasty fish stew". Recently recalling that line, I decided to make a song out of it.

Deep Cut #1

Haven't got a chance to record lately, but maybe I'll end up taking advantage of the incoming weather this week.

I've been listening to some of my old stuff. I wrote this one almost two years ago. I was definitely going for a Dire Straits meets Todd Rundgren sound. A little heavy on the lead guitar and terrible drumming, but it's not all that bad.
